Approach
We set out to deliver a fresh, modern digital presence for the North West Construction Hub, consolidating years of content into a brand-new WordPress site. Our focus began with a detailed content audit: we reviewed every page, document, and resource from the legacy site to determine relevance, format, and migration priority.
Next, we crafted a clean, intuitive design—streamlined navigation and refreshed visuals that reinforced the Hub’s position as a leader in public-sector construction frameworks.
The migration phase was handled in stages. First we carefully imported archival pages, news, and testimonials, ensuring formatting, internal links, and downloads behaved as intended. We then moved onto High-priority items—such as framework listings and market intelligence downloads giving stakeholders early access to verify accuracy. We also performed rigorous testing to guarantee all resources were correctly accessible, downloadable, and categorised.

The secret to success
What made this project stand out was our dual commitment to accuracy and usability. By blending meticulous content migration with a modernised design that reflected the Hub’s strategic strengths—such as its collaborative ethos and procurement leadership—we delivered a site that truly communicates the brand’s value.
Early and frequent collaboration with the client ensured that content was migrated thoughtfully—and not just copied over. Whether it was updating key documents (like the sustainability charter, mental health certificates, or Q3 and Q4 2024 market intelligence reports) or preserving the integrity of news and testimonials, each element was audited and enhanced.
Iterative testing allowed us to catch formatting issues, broken links, or missing assets quickly. And because the site was built on a carefully designed WordPress framework, the Hub now enjoys efficient content management: updates to downloads, news sections, frameworks or team members can all be handled with ease, far more efficiently than before.
